Crime Fighting Call Center Agents 4 - book review - Artseblis - Filipino Graphic Novel

I thought the series would be a Scooby Gang crime-solving series of adventures set in a call center. I was wrong. Probably the characters were the authors’ call center friends who they imagined running from a number of misadventures to another, from a serial killer and haunted house to an aswang village and witch’s lair. I would rather that the stories were set in a call center, and that the adventures intermissions in a story arc where all the small crimes lead to a bigger mystery or to a grand plan. As it is, I just ended up bewildered by all the running around and the exaggerated reactions of the characters. In fairness, I imagine the authors had a lot of fun creating the stories, which they described on their site as a white-collar horror web comic, and their fans reading them.
